The “Douchebag Is” (or DBI) blog was created to address the growing epidemic of offensive human behavior in America … and around the world.
Of course, like all great stories, it was inspired by alcohol. Our idea was fueled by the deadly combination of great live music and massive amounts of Goose Island 312 consumed at the 2009 Pitchfork Festival in Chicago.
Sounds like the recipe for the perfect weekend until you begin to take in the scenery.
Two days and 300 miles later, a blog was born.
Let’s face it – today’s parents have enough to worry about with drugs, alcohol, teen pregnancy, job loss, the economy, etc. Someone has to educate the next generation – and remind the rest of us – on how NOT to act like a douchebag.
So, you’re welcome!
While everyone is guilty at one point or another, what’s important to remember is … it’s never too late to stop being a douchebag.
Disclaimer: We’re a bunch of old dudes. Guys who probably just don’t get what’s “cool or hip” with 21st century kids. Maybe so. The more likely scenario is we are right and you are a douchebag in denial.
